In addition to this most restaurants are aiming in setting up a service deliveries that are of high quality that will attract several customers all over the world which will give a high revenue consequence.Ritzer explains that Mcdonaldization success can be explained by four dimensions which includes; efficiency, calculability, predictability and control. According to Ritzer restaurant are sources full stomach and his point of argument is that workers will work effi ciently and effectively if they are not hungry. Calculability mostly focuses on quantitative aspect of McDonaldà ¢Ã¢â ¬s products, this is basically due to the fact that U.S view both quality and quantity as important factors in production and neither of the above is important than the other ( Kellner and Douglas,288)Ritzer also focuses on the third dimension and explains in details about predictability. He argues that one becomes sure of the product that will not change over time if the person goes McDonald. This means that one can be able to predict the future uncertainties, which are important in a business. He also raises the fact about the control, which is exerted to clients with the use of lines, menus that are limited and uncomfortable seat (Kellner and Douglas, 287)..Mcdonaldization is the process whereby principals of the fast food restaurant come to dominate in most sectors of the American societies and the rest of the world. Mcdonaldization as one of the accelerating factor towards the development of food industry has brought a magnificent impact in development of the today society. Mcdonaldization does not affect only the restaurant business but also other sectors. In other words, Mcdonaldization can imply a search for best efficiency in growing and diverse society (Ritzer 16)..Mcdonaldization allows availability of goods and services irrespective of time or geographical place. It has also ensured that there are a wider range goods and services available to the population all over the world. This has consequently ensured that most of the people get what they need most immediately. Mcdonaldization has ensured that the goods and services that have been delivered are uniform in terms of quality, which in turn ensures standardized prices to common goods and services (Ritzer 23).Mcdonaldization has assured that efficiency is universal in today life; the streamlined process has been transferred to other restaurant within the fast food industries. Oth er restaurants have created ways of getting customers as quick as possible including improving the quality irrespective of the location and the cost. Ritzer has used calculability to refer to quality and quantity. In U.S, both quality and quantity are considered as important factors in production and neither of the above is important than the other. Predictability is a component that involves expectation of people in a given society, one need to know if the commodity he/she bought in a specific area is similar to another same commodity in a different geographical location. Control is also a major dimension, such that systems are oriented toward and structured to control in a variety of senses, as systems are set such that they can control some of the major life uncertainties (Castree and Noel, 32).Rationality is the habit of acting by reason, which is in accordance with the act of reality.
